Celebrating the hard work of farmers around the country. At Cannon Hall Farm. Helen Skelton heads into the roundhouse with Rob and Dave Nicholson, where lambing is in full swing, and gets stuck in at the very heart of the action. Rob takes Dave on a mystery road trip to visit fellow farmer Jimmy Doherty in Suffolk, who has a proposition involving a very special, endangered species.
Episode 2
Cameras follow the construction of a new roundhouse at Cannon Hall Farm, where hundreds of lambs are due to be born. Helen Skelton joins Rob and Dave Nicholson for a tense and emotional delivery that doesn't go to plan. Jules Hudson heads to the cattle sheds to help Rob and Dave to fit a new grooming brush designed to improve herd welfare.
Episode 3
Jules Hudson is introduced to Big Red, a cow whose newborn calf needs urgent help to get off to the best possible start. There's a visit to a dairy farm where four generations have combined traditional values with cutting-edge technology. Here, cows choose when they want to be milked, guided by smart collars and advanced robotic systems. Rob and Dave Nicholson head to Scotland with a major decision to make, as they consider investing in a prized Highland heifer.

Jules Hudson helps deliver twin lambs, while Rob and Dave Nicholson head to the Cotswolds to visit Adam Henson as they look to expand the farm's rare breed line-up. Back at Cannon Hall, Helen Skelton meets the farm's newest piglets, while fourth-generation farming sisters Poppy and Josie juggle the demands of calving season with bringing up their young children.
