Part 1
A snowbound little town on an island in Maine undergoes terror when an evil stranger arrives and murders occur. After claiming his first victim, Andre Linoge awaits capture by the constable and makes him an offer: "Give me what I want and I'll go away."

Part 2
Linoge causes a rash of suicides and a confrontation between Cat and Billy; and there's talk about making Linoge "have an accident." People gather at the town hall to ride out the storm; realizing Linoge is not human, the men take turns guarding him, but he escapes.

Part 3
Molly finds Ralphie in the closet; Linoge orders townspeople to gather at the shelter to learn his identity and what he wants. Angie tells the townsfolk of her capture; Linoge uses his cane to put all of the children in a trance; and everyone gathers in the town hall to find out what Linoge wants.
