Street Auction (2016-2017)

EndedDocumentary show

One Street, one extraordinary person and one huge sale. Paul Martin, with the help of experts Danny Sebastian, Irina Aggrey and Tim Weeks, will raise cash for a neighbour or friend who has helped others and is now in need themselves.

It's payback time for the unsung hero, as Paul and his team scour the area for donations to sell at his pop up auction right in the very street where they live.

The idea is to keep it a secret from them but will Paul and his team get rumbled?

Paul knocks on doors of friends and neighbours to tell them about the auction and he is invited in to rummage in garages and garden sheds to look for donations - anything from bikes to 18th century buttons.

Will the team reach their donation target? All will be revealed on the street as Paul auctions off the items and then steps down off of his rostrum to surprise the unsuspecting recipient.
