Best-selling author and ex-gang member Graeme Armstrong travels to forgotten areas of Scotland to shine a light on the allure of gang life. He encounters drill music artists and street gang members, while also exploring his own past. Graeme tries to understand why young people are seduced by the perceived glamour and excitement of gang life by speaking to young people themselves.

Episode 2
Ex gang member and best-selling author Graeme Armstrong explores the underbelly of Dundee as he speaks to ex gang members in local schemes Whitfield and Kirkton and tries to understand the causes of recent civil unrest in the area. In this episode, Graeme focuses on what happens when the perceived glamour wears off and gang life begins to go wrong. Sharing deeply personal stories, Graeme engages with the police and reformed gang members who have nearly lost their lives to this world.

Episode 3
Graeme explores the Wyndford Scheme in Maryhill and travels to Glencoe to meet a man who, like himself, managed to turn his life around and leave gangs behind for good.
