Week 1

It's the first live show of Strictly 2025, and our judges Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse and Anton Du Beke kick things off with an incredible opening number that sees them dancing through the decades.
Fresh from the training room, our 15 couples join Tess and Claud in the ballroom, ready to perform their first routines of the competition. Whilst they may not have to face the public vote this week, they do have to face the judges, who will be handing out the first scores of the series.
As our couples are making their dance floor debuts this week, no-one is going home, and the judges' scores will be carried over to next weekend, when viewers will have their first chance to vote for their favourites.
