Firefighters are battling the largest wildfire in state history as strong winds and low humidity all fuel the Smokehouse Creek Fire that has killed at least two people and burned more than 1,700 square miles. The Israeli military says the civilians killed near an aid convoy in Gaza last week were trampled and that Israeli troops did not carry out a strike.
