Lindsey Graham, an Air Force veteran from South Carolina and one of the most influential senators in American foreign policy, has died at 71. Graham had just returned from a lengthy trip to Ukraine and Ankara, Turkey. NBC's Julie Tsirkin reports for Sunday TODAY. NBC's Kristen Welker joins Sunday TODAY's Willie Geist to preview her conversation with President Donald Trump after the death of Sen. Lindsey Graham. "He is absolutely devastated. Sen. Graham was one of his closest allies on matters ranging from foreign to domestic polices," Kristen says. The United States launched new attacks on Iran after the Iranians, again, shut down the Strait of Hormuz. This comes hours after Iran's new supreme leader vowed revenge for the death of his father in the opening hours of the war. NBC's Raf Sanchez reports for Sunday TODAY. Emergency responders and members of the National Guard have spent the weekend rescuing hundreds of people in Missouri including children from a summer camp after severe storms and flood waters swept the area.
