Episodes

D is for Declarations
Dane's family is celebrating his Dad's birthday with a party. The milestone is an unwelcome reminder for Dane that he's yet to achieve any of his goals in life. To make matters worse, his relatives compare Dane with his twin sister Kadean; his perfect cousin Christian and his high-achieving girlfriend Nicola.
Dane seeks solace at the party with his Dad and his friends, but after having one too many of his Dad's special birthday rums, Dane makes an unforgettable announcement. But will he regret it?

D is for Desire
It's time for Dane to step up and make some life changes - but will he be able to see them through?
Dane makes the decision to finally move out of his parents' house after being tricked by his sister. Dane will now need his dead-end job more than ever, so he attempts to tolerate the advances of his ferocious, flirtatious boss Kerry (Katherine Ryan). However, this lands him in hot water when his girlfriend Nicola arrives at his office ready to help him find a place to rent, but instead catches him in a hugely compromising position with Kerry.
The news of Dane's antics spread fast, leaving his family furious, so Dane gets some calming advice from his best friend Stefan (David Ajao). After some words of encouragement Dane begs for Nicola's forgiveness but she tells him they are over until he steps up and takes control of his life.
Dane delivers a sincere apology, but will it be enough to save his relationship?

D is for Drastic Times
In the penultimate episode of the series, Dane's masculinity is being threatened by his boss, his soon-to-be father-in-law, and worst of all, by himself.
Dane's family have invited Nicola and her Dad, Jamaar (Danny ‘Slim' Gray, pictured), to come over. Dane is dreading it, as Jamaar despises him and the feeling is mutual. What's more, Dane's annual work inter-departmental football game is happening today.
Attendance and stress at both events is inevitable, especially as Kerry is in charge of the match and she is as flirtatious as ever. Distracted by the football game, Dane is late for his evening with Nicola, Jamaar and his family.
Dane and Jamaar are quickly at loggerheads and a huge row erupts, but Kadean is on hand to provide an unexpected distraction when she makes a shocking announcement.

D is for Dreams
It's the final instalment of Sunny D, and with his home life, job and relationship in the balance, Dane realises who and what he believes in the most.
Following his fight with Nicola's Dad Jamaar, Dane is lost for what to say to Nicola and his family, who are giving him the cold shoulder. Dane finally reaches rock bottom just as Kerry his boss attempts to harass him yet again.
This turns out to be just the trigger Dane needs to confront his problems at home, in his relationship and at work. Luckily his best friend Stefan is on hand with a genius idea and Dane receives some timely advice from one of his all-time heroes. Dane then finds himself making some life changing decisions…
