Super Sentai - Season 39

With the passing of the Last Ninja, the Yokai Army is freed once again and it's time for the five descendants of Last Ninja, Takaharu, Fuuka, Yakumo, Nagi and Kasumi to become the Ninningers and protect the world from the Yokai Army. Takaharu returns to his hometown when a horde of ashigaru attack.

After their first encounter with the Yokai Army, the five Ninningers train at the Ninja Dojo. Takaharu gives some Ninjutsu advice to the others but Yakumo, who is a genius about that, doesn't agree with him. The five heroes start their ninjutsu training. However, Takaharu confronts Yakumo, who's standoffish attitude has worn thin.

Nagi is obsessed with licenses and permits. His ninja training is no exception and he carries his textbooks all the time. Yokai Kasha appears and Nagi, wanting to be on the same level as Takaharu and Yakumo, faces it alone with a plan carefully based on the principles and strategies of his books.

Meanwhile, Kyuemon Izayoi, page of the Kibaoni Army, appears before Takaharu and Raizo Gabi, spearhead of the Kibaoni Army, appears before Yakumo, Fuuka and Kasumi. The power of Raizo is something they have not faced before.

The Ninningers are still training while Takaharu is taking a break, until Yokai Tsuchigumo attacks. Meanwhile, Kyuemon tries to order Gabi to gather human fears which he rejects it.

As the Ninningers battle Youkai Nekomata, they travel to the past and meet a younger Takaharu and Fuuka Igsaaki and save them from Nekomata. Now, they must defeat Youkai Nekomata and save time and space before its too late. 

Yoshitaka has been attacked. The team creates a plan to lure the attacker in. The culprit, who fell squarely into the trap, was the guitar carrying Kinji. After the team surrounds him, he transforms into StarNinger. His flashy techniques send the Ninningers flying away.

Meanwhile, the Yokai Daidarabotchi appears. The Ninningers arrive at the scene only to find Kinji already there. What are his intentions in Japan?

The Igasakis are doing New Year's cleaning at the dojo when suddenly Tsumuji attacks Takaharu. It is revealed that it is actually the Sky Ninja of the Hurricanegers, Shurikenger in disguise and he has challenged the Ninningers to a game of karuta to test their Yokai knowledge.
