Surf Girls: International follows five upcoming female surfers as they compete in the Challenger Series. They travel all over the world, representing their home countries while striving to get on the World Surf Tour. To develop as surfers they must overcome their own personal struggles, and deal with the challenges of the international spotlight.

Huntington Beach Showdown
It's the US Open, the biggest event on the Challenger Series and after injuring her back in Ballito, Sophia gets her first taste of victory and advances to the finals. Ēwe, gets some great advice from an old friend, while Kika connects with her father in California. Jessie wants to take her training to the next level, while Sol's disappointing loss in the Olympics affects her surfing.

Power of Portugal
The girls arrive in Portugal to face Ericeira's powerful waves. Ēwe's family arrives for this competition, while financial setbacks leave Jessie flying solo. Kika's banking on a killer home turf performance to boost her ranking. Sophia has it all on the line with a risky strategy and Sol arrives with a positive new outlook. But will a mental shift be enough to improve her performance?

Portugal to Brazil: The Last Leg
As the Ericeira Pro in Portugal nears its end, Sol takes the stage in the round of 16 — determined to redeem herself and rise in the ranks. After, the girls head to Brazil for the final stop on the Challengers Series. Every point matters as Ewe, Kika, Sophia, Jessie, and Sol battle it out in the tricky waters to be world champions and avoid losing everything they've worked so hard for.

Riding to the Finish
The Surf Girls give their all at the final competition of the season in Saquarema, Brazil. With their futures in professional surfing on the line, every point counts to secure their rank and a spot on next year's tour. The stakes have never been higher and amid the battle to stay on the Challenger Series, Sophia learns she's got a shot at making it onto the famed World Championship Tour.
