One December night, 19-year-old Nacy is found brutally raped and beaten to death in a wooded area in Hjällbo outside Gothenburg. She has been on her way home from a party nearby, but the police initially get no clues after questioning the party-goers. When you later get a tip about one of the partygoers and make a home visit to him, a terrifying connection to a previous violent assault is discovered.

A number of fires ravage Askersund, and 18-year-old Linus soon becomes a suspect. But Linus is missing, and the more time passes, the more frightening the police's premonitions become.
