As the season hits full stride, alligators begin changing their behaviors--and the hunters must adjust to stay one step ahead. Joey and Zak swap their trademark weapons (treble hook vs. fishing rod)  to see who can nab the biggest bulls. Troy and Pickle head for The Boneyard, where hidden, underwater dangers threaten to sink their boat at any moment. Ashley and Anna answer a call to help community where aggressive gators have moved into the local swimming hole. Leron and Porkchop launch two conflicting baiting strategies, hoping one will be victorious. Ronnie hurries to finish his hunt so he can attend his college football hall of fame ceremony, but unforeseen obstacles stand in his way.
