Sydney to the Max - Season 3

With her dad's permission, Sydney enlists Olive to help remodel her bedroom to fit her new "artsy Syd" 8th grade persona. In the ‘90s, Max is struggling being the shortest kid in his class and tries to make himself look taller.

As part of a yearly 8th-grade tradition, Syd and Olive get paired with two 6th graders to mentor. When Sydney sees her mentee Lucy is very shy, she goes a bit overboard trying to help her make friends. 

When Harry tells Sydney that he is moving back to Portland permanently, she struggles with the idea of having a long-distance relationship.

Syd wants the amigas to become closer friends with Harry, but she puts too much pressure on herself to make sure things go perfectly when they hang out.

Sydney is having trouble balancing time with schoolwork, her friends, and spending time with Harry.

After a successful run at the smoothie shop, Sydney now has fans who come to watch her play her songs and she decides to post one of her songs online to expand her audience.

Syd wants to get in touch with her Black side and explores the possibility of wearing her hair natural.

Olive is excited to celebrate her bat mitzvah with the party she's always dreamed of, but when an unexpected storm hits, Syd helps her figure out a backup plan.

When Olive bumps up to the advanced math class, Syd thinks she also deserves the same honor, but then quickly realizes she's not meant to be at this level.

When Olive learns that her parents are splitting up, Max, Syd and Grandma Judy come together to talk with Olive about how they've coped with divorce in their family.

When Syd suspects her teacher has assigned everyone in her class historical figures based on their race, she and her classmates decide it's time to stand up for themselves.

When Max goes away for the weekend and leaves his mother in charge, Sydney takes advantage of her "cool" grandma by arranging a sleepover on a Sunday night. In the '90s, Judy believes Max broke something even though he keeps denying his involvement. 

When Max has a crush on Sydney's music teacher, Gemma, but realizes he's too nervous about dating again, he convinces Syd to be a chaperone on his first date. In the '90s, Leo has a crush on Max's new math tutor, Danielle. Leo persuades his buddy to need more help so he can see the tutor more. 

The Amigas go to school dressed in costumes for Halloween but end up being the only ones.

When Max hires Sydney to write a jingle for Reynolds Rides, she learns it's not easy to be both a daughter and an employee.

Sydney is asked to represent a popular clothing line on social media but struggles with its "one size fits all" mold; in the '90s, Max enlists Leo to help him get buff to impress Alisha.

The Reynolds receive a sum of money, and no one can agree on what to buy; Sydney finds herself in the middle of what her dad and Grandma Judy want.

Sydney is over the moon when her spunky seven-year-old cousin, Lexi, moves in with the Reynolds for the summer.

Sydney's cousin, Lexi, wants the family to go to church with her in Portland; the family opens up to a new community and Syd is volunteered to sing gospel music for the first time.
