Den voldsomme oplevelse får flere til at tage livet op til revision. Bruger jeg tiden godt nok? Er jeg lykkelig? Og midt i kaosset bliver Anna viklet ind i en næste uløselig opgave, da en mystisk, forslået kvinde bliver indlagt.

Geordie's plain-speaking, down to earth approach to policing complemented Sidney's more gentle technique of coaxing information from witnesses and suspects. Their unlikely pairing became a true friendship as each offered a different insight into the crimes they unravelled.
