A young Nigerian girl is found dead at a bus stop, opening an investigation into her death and leading Inspector Jen Rooney to a direct provision centre.
Episode 2
As the investigation continues, suspicion falls on Wayne and there are signs that Esme might have been secretly working before she died.
Episode 3
Abeni comes to fear those she works for at the brothel, and is too scared to tell the police. Flora escapes from the care home she has been placed in.
Episode 4
The police put Abeni under surveillance as her bosses at the brothel begin to treat her differently at work. Abeni fears for her life, Flora is subjected to horrors.
Episode 5
The police discover new leads in the wake of their raid on the brothel, and Abeni begins to confide what she knows. The gang are rebuilding their business unseen.
Episode 6
Abeni must decide if helping find Flora, Hope and Nina will be too great a risk for her family. As forensics examine the old brothel, Jen's team discover how she was killed.
