When Madam Fatimah resigns as Chairwoman of TLC, the committee seeks to elect a new Chairwoman. Bee Li proposes that Meera should take up the position. Meanwhile, Jay tries to convince Kwong San to tell about his financial situation to the family but Kwong San refuses and tells him he'll find a way to solve this on his own. When Arjun is cavalier about answering Mrs Pereira's questions about her surgery, he's chastised by Wendy for his poor bedside manner and lack of concern for his patients.
