The 14-year-old Talia surprised a murderer in her house shortly after his crime and thus becomes the most important witness for the investigative team Gorniak, Winkler and Schnabel from Dresden. But the teenager remembers nothing, because since her mother died in an accident a few years ago, Talia has developed a psychological self-protection: If she sees something that emotionally overwhelms her, her consciousness represses what she has seen and changes it into a fictional reality that is less for her seems terrible.
