The discovery of a corpse in a Hanover waste incineration plant calls Charlotte Lindholm (Maria Furtwängler) onto the scene. She is particularly moved by the fate of the 16-year-old suspected prostitute; who is so ruthless as to just throw a young girl in the trash? A short time later, another girl named Larissa is picked up, who is of crucial help to the police. She was also thrown in the trash, but was able to free herself and survived.
