Great Aunt Lizzie tells the story of Charlotte and the Wise Dragon. Charlotte meets a Japanese armourer's apprentice who is maintaining his skills during peaceful times by recycling old samurai armour into wonderful sculptures. Just as he has almost finished his iron dragon, he runs out of silk! Charlotte goes on an epic quest to find more silk, and along the way she learns great tales about the mythical dragons of Japan.

Great Aunt Lizzie tells the story of Lokesh and the Adventure of the Greek Comedy Mask. In Ancient Greece Lokesh meets Alexis, a mask maker who has made a special gift for his hero, the great comedy actor Gregorious. However, Alexis is far too busy to deliver it before the night's performance and so Lokesh sets off to a magnificent theatre in the hills to find Gregorius, and present the gift on behalf of the mask maker.

Great Aunt Lizzie tells the story of Charlotte and the Adventure of the Cowrie Shells. A young woman named Gull is anticipating her brother's return from sea, but his ship was due back days ago and she is worried. She decides to make an offering to one of the goddesses for his safe return, but which one? And what should she give? Sigrid the Wise knows the answers, and Charlotte sets off in search of the perfect tribute.

Great Aunt Lizzie tells the story of Lokesh and the Adventure of the Mayan Vase. A new emperor is about to ascend the throne, and in anticipation of the big event he wants to have his favourite hot chocolate drink. However, when he discovers he has lost his chocolate, Lokesh goes high into the hills to get him some more cocoa, meeting the emperor's subjects along the way.

Great Aunt Lizzie tells the story of Charlotte and the Adventure of the Pig-Shaped Rattle. In the blazing heat of the Greek summer, Charlotte meets a couple from Aristoi journeying to their daughter's house in the country with a gift for a new baby. However, there is trouble in store, leading Charlotte to go on an epic trek to help the family with their new arrival.

Great Aunt Lizzie tells the story of Lokesh and the Adventure of the Engraved Printer's Block. Lokesh meets a man who has given up all of his worldly possessions except for an old piece of wood. But what can he give his daughter who is due to visit from the city? Lokesh goes off in search of an answer with nothing but the piece of wood and the old man's promise that when you do a good thing, good things happen.

Great Aunt Lizzie tells the story of Charlotte and the Adventure of the Ear Ornaments. Charlotte meets a mathematician named Ho who teaches her how to count in Mayan. But while Ho may be brilliant at Maths, Charlotte discovers when it comes to Lacha, his favourite person in the whole world, he has miscalculated the date of her birthday! Ho needs to find a present for Lacha, and Charlotte goes on an epic quest to help.

Great Aunt Lizzie tells the story of Lokesh and the Adventure of the Boat Rivets. A master boat builder and a Viking discover they have always wanted to do each other's jobs. Lokesh persuades them to swap, but as Val the Viking tries to finish the boat, he runs out of rivets just as the owner returns, desperate to set sail. Lokesh races off to find the blacksmith and the rivets but will he get back before the tide turns?

Great Aunt Lizzie tells the story of Charlotte and the Adventure of the Two Identical Inro. Charlotte sees a mix-up at the market when a chef and a writer accidentally pick up each other's inro: the little cases that contain all their precious things. Thinking she has miso paste, Chef Machi adds ink to the soup she is making for a Samurai's dinner party. Can Charlotte make things right again? First she has to find the writer.

Great Aunt Lizzie tells the story of Lokesh and the Adventure of Exoidas and the Discus. Practising with a new discus for the contest that could get him to the important games at Olympia, the great athlete Exoidas has lost his touch and is about to give up. Believing an old discus is the answer, Lokesh runs up against the guardian of the sanctuary in a bid to retrieve Exoidas' most famous discus of all.

Great Aunt Lizzie tells the story of Lokesh and the Adventure of the Mayan Whistle. Lokesh meets a master builder who is working on a great Mayan pyramid. However, his assistant can never hear him when he calls because of her singing - she loves music and says it helps her work. Deep in the valley, Lokesh follows the loud sound of a whistle that might just be the perfect solution to the problem!

Great Aunt Lizzie tells the story of Charlotte and the Adventure of the Groom's Netsuke. A groom is preparing for his wedding ceremony but keeps losing all the things he needs for his big day. The tailor has a solution - a sagemono - but he doesn't have a netsuke. It leads Charlotte on an epic quest in search of a special Imp Netsuke, to keep everything safe and bring the groom good luck.

Great Aunt Lizzie tells the story of Lokesh and the Adventure of the Thor's Hammer Amulet. Lokesh meets a new mother whose Viking husband has gone to sea, not only leaving his young family behind, but his lucky amulet too! It's a race against time for Lokesh as he misses the boat. Will he ever get the Thor's Hammer Amulet back to the warrior? But why would anyone forget something so important in the first place?

Great Aunt Lizzie tells the story of Charlotte and the Adventure of the Mayan Hunter's Arrowhead. A young Mayan farmer, who dreams of adventure, persuades a retired hunter to teach her his craft. But she has so much work to do on the farm she might miss the chance of a lifetime. Charlotte journeys across the Yucatan peninsula in search of the Woman of the Sea, and the arrowhead that could change the farmer's life forever!

Great Aunt Lizzie tells the story of Lokesh and the Adventure of the Astragali. When Lokesh arrives in Ancient Greece he meets a pie maker who tells him all the fascinating things you can make from leftover bones! It looks like the perfect answer for a brother and sister who are stuck with nothing to do. Lokesh sets off to find the Games Maker of Piraeus in the hope she might help him find a solution.

Great Aunt Lizzie tells the story of Charlotte and the Adventure of the Viking Ice Skates. A prince is searching for a maiden he saw skating on the frozen lake. His only clue is the ice skate she left behind. After trying and failing to find the maiden, he enlists the help of Charlotte. But will she be able to find the mystery maiden, and can she find the courage to descend the dreaded slide of Valhalla?

Great Aunt Lizzie tells the story of Lokesh and the Adventure of the Spouted Pot. Lokesh meets a young woman named Sakiko who is eager to impress her new mother-in-law with a tea ceremony. Sakiko teaches Lokesh that there is more to a tea ceremony than just pouring a cup of tea. Just as everything seems perfect, Sakiko sees she has forgotten her pot! Lokesh goes on an epic quest to retrieve it for her before time runs out.

Great Aunt Lizzie tells the story of Charlotte and the Adventure of the Owl Skyphos. A servant in Greece is preparing for the Festival of Arrhephoria when he notices a small crack in his mistress's special cup. Charlotte goes to a workshop to try to repair it, but disaster strikes and she has no option but to set off to the great city of Athens. Will she return in time for the great Festival of Arrhephoria?

Great Aunt Lizzie tells the story of Lokesh and the Adventure of the Spindle Whorl. Lokesh meets a mother whose son is about to take part in an important ceremony, but he has a hole in his poncho. Yatzil must repair it quickly, but needs her spindle whorl to do so. When Lokesh tries to retrieve it from her neighbour, he discovers it is broken. Can Lokesh find a new spindle whorl before the celebrations begin?

Great Aunt Lizzie tells the story of Charlotte and the Adventure of the Viking Tweezers. Charlotte comes across a great Viking warrior, but the king's champion has a splinter in his hand and can't pick up his sword. Charlotte thinks she can solve the problem with her tweezers, but it seems they are not worthy of such a task. She sets off in search of a shieldmaiden and the right kind of tweezers, but when she returns the warrior has fled.
