While investigating the truth, the pair of Taguchi Kohei and Shiratori Keisuke close in on the dark side of the sloppy autopsy system. Furthermore, Ikaruga Yoshimasa, the head of the Metropolitan Police's Information Office, and Associate Professor Sasai Sumire of the hospital's forensic medicine department oppose the centre's establishment.
