One day, Taguchi Kohei of Psychosomatic Medicine is dispatched to Hekisuiin by the director. At that hospital the director, Sakuramiya Iwao, is working on end-of-life care. He has the trust of his patients, and has an indispensable presence in the town.
However, it was Shiratori Keisuke of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, and self-proclaimed dermatologist was dispatched to Hekisuiin. When Shiratori came to Hekisuiin for the first time in a long time he meet Tachibana of radiology. After that, he mysteriously disappears leaving only the words "What have you done in this hospital is a felony.
