It's 10:01 and passengers aboard the regular flight from London to Sydney find themselves in the middle of a crisis. A once-in-a-lifetime trip is on the brink of becoming a tragedy. The engine has exploded and chunks of the plane are plummeting onto the residents below the flight path.
The Airbus 380 at the heart of the crisis is the largest passenger aircraft in the world. With an 80m wingspan, state of the art computer systems and a hugely experienced crew this was supposed to be a cruise through the air.
But instead, it is fire in the skies.
