In this episode Grainne Seoige tackles junk mail, Ade Edmondson follows the journey a suitcase makes though the airport system, Shaun Williamson tries to bring back bus conductors and Stanley Johnson highlights the amazing public spirit of the British public with a hidden camera experiment. We also try to find the worst pothole in Britain and celebrate the hidden heroes doing the jobs that keep Britain ticking.

Episode 2
In this episode, Ade Edmondson unplugs the National Grid, Grainne Seoige takes on overcrowded trains, Stanley Johnson finds more good Samaritans amongst the British public and Stephen K Amos tries to bring back milkmen. There is also a search for the worst roadworks in Britain and the hidden heroes who make sure there is always cash in the cash point when you need it are celebrated.

In this epsiode, Grainne Seoige tackles hospital car park charges, Ade Edmondson follows the journey of a letter across the UK, Larry Lamb tries to bring back petrol pump attendants and Stanley Johnson highlights the amazing public spirit of the British with a hidden camera experiment. We also try to find the worst queue in Britain and celebrate the hidden heroes doing the jobs that keep Britain ticking.

In the final episode, Grainne Seoige looks into the price we pay to heat our homes, Ade Edmondson gets inside a supermarket to see how they get our Christmas dinner onto the shelves, Angela Rippon tries to bring back the human touch to cinema booking phone lines and Stanley Johnson tries to persuade the public to become stand-in Santas with a hidden camera sting. We also try to find the most confusing road signs in Britain and celebrate another hidden hero doing a job that keeps the country ticking.
