Catching a Catcher is a Making A Murderer parody that explores the story of Doug Dripp (JB Smoove), a minor league catcher who has attempted for almost 20 years to tag out Terry Staubach, an opponent he claims never touched home plate while scoring the winning run in the World Series. However, when Terry Staubach is murdered and Doug is accused of the crime, he sets out to prove his innocence and Minor League Baseball's agenda to frame him.
