Then we take a look at Laughter, at being funny on purpose, and at being a joke. We have a quick quiz on Modernism - can you tell from our examples which ones are contemporary art works? We look at the Market, and the mistaken idea that art that's sold for millions of dollars is better or more important than art sold for a hundred dollars. Materiality is the idea that art should be made from certain materials, then we take on the tangle of words that make up Notions, one of the most widely abused and misunderstood terms in the contemporary art lexicon.
