Brian Friel - Tribute
The Arts Show rounds off 2015 with a special tribute to Irish literary giant, Brian Friel, who died in October. Marie-Louise Muir talks to friends and colleagues who worked with him and for him, including Oscar-nominated actor, Stephen Rea, Irish playwright, Tom Kilroy, and actor/director, Adrian Dunbar.

Episode 7
In this programme, new talent is the focus, showcasing the names to watch in 2016, a look at the symbolism of Chinese New Year and music from Ports.

Episode 8
Features in this month's show include the screen adaptation of David Park's novel The Truth Commissioner; David Ireland's latest play, Cyprus Avenue; Bafta-nominated director Stephen Fingleton's new movie, The Survivalist; and jazz from the David Lyttle Trio.

The Agency

FROM
FROM unravels the mystery of a nightmarish town that traps all those who enter. As the unwilling residents fight to keep a sense of normalcy and search for a way out, they must also survive the threats of the surrounding forest – including the terrifying creatures that come out when the sun goes down. In season two, hidden truths about the nature and terrifying origins of the town begin to emerge, even as life for its residents is plunged into chaos by the arrival of mysterious newcomers.
