Season Two of The Baxters will test the family's faith in new and profound ways. Ashley begins to take control of her life. Kari struggles with the death of her husband. Then, when an unthinkable tragedy strikes the community, each Baxter family member is affected and must cope. Luke, the once confident believer in God, spirals into anger and doubt after his relationship with Reagan is tested.

In the Season Two premiere, Kari visits Tim's grave with their three-month-old daughter, Jessie. Ashley takes advice from Elizabeth and Erica regarding a job interview. John and Brooke fight to save the life of a close family friend.

The Easy Part
Elizabeth and Erin finish the new nursery. Ashley starts her new job, but a troublesome manager makes her first day difficult. Luke and Reagan discuss meeting Reagan's family. Back at the hospital, Landon continues to fight for his life.

Erin’s Birthday
The Baxters prepare for Erin's birthday party. Now that Landon has miraculously recovered, he and Ashley have a difficult conversation. Kari and Ryan are in regular contact, while Erin and her husband Sam share unexpected news at the birthday party.

One Step Forward
Elizabeth's nursery project at the church pays off, with new families touring the space. At Tim's grave, Kari makes a monumental decision. Ashley speaks up at work and reaches out to Landon for one last chat before he moves to California.

Memory Box
Ashley attempts a kind gesture for one of her patients, but her manager, Belinda, rebukes her efforts. Luke and Reagan go bowling with her dad, and an unexpected visitor interrupts their cheerful outing. Kari makes a bold move to reconnect with Ryan.

Allure
As Luke and Reagan's relationship grows deeper, Luke has a crisis of faith. Ashley and Landon work on their friendship but discover that keeping things platonic isn't easy. On a seemingly normal Sunday at church, something unimaginable happens.

When the Smoke Clears
The Baxter family is in turmoil as they try to understand the tragedy at their church. John helps the paramedics and victims while Reagan begins to pull away from Luke. Ashley finds comfort with one of her patients at the care facility.

Paris
The Baxters are recovering from the tragic tragedy at church. John considers building a monument to honor the dead. Luke tries to restore his relationship with Reagan, and Ryan considers staying in town to help John and Kari at the church.

Broken Pieces
John works on the church's memorial garden. Ashley discovers a shocking truth about her manager, Belinda. Landon is frustrated with Ashley for not opening up about her past. Ryan shares a secret he's been keeping from Kari.

Say a Little Prayer
Kari confronts Ashley about kissing Ryan. Luke and Lori's relationship takes an unexpected turn. Ashley speaks with her former boss about Belinda's deception. Kari's marriage counseling service at church gets its first participant.

Waiting for Wings
Erin takes Kari's advice as she works on her marriage with Sam. Luke considers leaving home after he's confronted by Elizabeth and John. Kari and Ryan look to mend their relationship, and Ashley has a surprise for the patients and their families.

It’s Not Perfect
In the Season Two finale, Ashley helps Landon prep for his big move and shares a traumatic event from her past. Elizabeth asks Luke to attend the memorial garden's dedication ceremony at church. Reagan has been keeping a life-changing secret.
