Episode 1
Two families are reckoning with the problem of too much stuff. Anne and James Rodger need to clear their clutter while trying to sell their house and Patti and Faye are moving into a much smaller house and doing their downsizing in reverse. Professional organizer Jane Veldhoven has to think creatively in finding solutions that work for both her clients

Episode 2
Jane is uncovering the clutter hiding in every closet, drawer and cabinet throughout the sprawling Rodger's household and is helping Patti and Faye begin culling their possessions so their smaller home isn't smothered. It's time for everyone to make some tough decisions and get working.

Episode 3
It's an overwhelming time for both Jane's de-cluttering households. Anne's sister has been storing stuff in the Rodger's house for years and its complicating Jane's process. Over at Patti and Faye's cutting back roughly half their stuff is proving to be physically and emotionally draining.

Episode 4
Jane makes a breakthrough with Anne's sister's stuff and Patti and Faye are starting to connect with their smaller home as their downsizing purge is continuing. For Jane, its a mixture of handholding and rolling up the sleeves as she tries keeping everyone focused and inspired.

Episode 5
Patti and Faye are appreciating the benefits of downsized living while the Rodger's are feeling better prepared to make a sale. Jane is building on the lessons she learned in her journey with both households as they worked through their downsizing dilemmas.

The program received two Peabody Awards, two Grammy Awards, and several unwelcome shoulder massages. It won two Emmys for Outstanding Variety Series in 2013 and 2014, both of which appear to have been lost in the move. Colbert is pronounced koʊlˈbɛər, according to Wikipedia. His understudy is William Cavanaugh, who will be hosting The Late Show approximately one-third of the time. Good luck, Bill!
