The Big Fish Off - Season 2

Season 2
Episodes

Bobby Davro vs. Ricky Groves
In the first episode of this series, comedian Bobby Davro is pitted against his friend and fellow keen angler, former Eastenders actor Ricky Groves.
The lads head to a tranquil fishery in the heart of Surrey for this week's challenge, which starts with a grudge match for crucian carp. The captains have scores to settle with each other from last series, and need their celebrity partners to be at their best. Ali is teamed with Ricky, and Dean with Bobby.
The second challenge sees them float fishing from punts for bream and tench, with the third challenge targeting king carp.

Mark Bright vs. DJ Spoony
Coached by rival team captains, fishing guru Ali Hamidi and Olympian and top angler Dean Macey, the celebrities face three tough challenges with pride, glory and bragging rights at stake.
In the second episode of this series, radio host DJ Spoony takes on former Crystal Palace striker-turned-TV pundit Mark Bright.
The pair go urban fishing with Ali and Dean at Walthamstow reservoirs and near the M25 for a series of challenges designed to test their skills to the limit. Tensions run high as the team captains wind each other up, and Ali and Spoony indulge in some rule-bending.

Neil Ruddock vs. Steve Collins
In the third episode of this series, ex Liverpool and Spurs man Neil 'Razor' Ruddock takes on former boxing champion Steve ‘The Celtic Warrior' Collins.
First, the boys head to one of Ali's childhood haunts for a float fishing challenge, where Razor struggles to get into a rhythm and Ali has to be tough on him.
Then the sporting pair get into a ding-dong battle as they fish for carp at the place where Ali learned his skills, near the sleepy village of Layer de la Haye in Essex.
Finally, in a first for the series, they go out in a boat for a sea fishing challenge hoping to catch a haul that is worth the most when sold to a restaurant back on land. The problem is, they can only keep seven fish to sell to the restaurant, so some big decisions are to be made. In the meantime, Razor catches the show's first ever shark.

Sally Gunnell vs. Anna Kelle
In the fourth episode of this series, Ali and Dean are joined by Olympic gold medallist Sally Gunnell and reality TV star, former model and photographer Anna 'AK' Kelle.
This programme returns to Dean's roots in Essex, as the gang go pole fishing and undertake a night session chasing monster catfish.

Ricky Rayment vs. Mitchell Smith
In the last of the series, captains Ali and Dean take fishing fanatics TOWIE'S Ricky Rayment and top boxer Mitchell Smith on an incredible journey to Thailand in search of monster fish of over 500lbs. The teams target massive Mekong catfish, supersize Siamese carp and enormous Arapaima.
