Week 8

Host Alison Sweeney greets players with the news that the black and blue teams are being dissolved, and instead, they'll be competing as pairs this week. A high-calorie dinner temptation will determine who gets to choose the pairs, and the winning contestant's choices for teams creates tension in the house and alienates at least one player who feels betrayed. Trainers Bob Harper and Jillian Michaels work the contestants especially hard this week, and confront a few of the players about issues they can't seem to get past. Later, the pairs compete in a crazy challenge stacking sugar cubes, followed by the most explosive weigh-in yet this season, with heated exchanges taking place among the contestants and the trainers. A surprising elimination follows, sending two more players home.
