New DI Neil Manson arrives at Sun Hill and immediately stamps out his authority. He's bad news, an old school cop in the worst possible sense. Arrogant, sexist and a bully who resents women being in the MET, DI Manson isn't afraid to bend the rules to get what he wants. DS Phil Hunter is disappointed to learn he won't be in for an easy ride now that his old mate is in charge, and DS Sam Nixon takes an instant dislike to the man who's taken the job she was convinced she had. Max's body is discovered in the freezer of his chip shop and MIT are called in to investigate. PC Cathy Bradford acts the devastated fiancée but time could at last be running out for Sun Hill's psycho cop when a horrified DC Brandon Kane discovers his children watching a video of the missing CCTV footage they found in Cathy's bedroom, which shows Cathy with Brandon's wife moments before her death.
