The Bold and the Beautiful - Season 1 / Year 1987

Thorne and Ridge don't see eye to eye with the new Fall Line as the Forrester fashion show is taking place on stage. Meanwhile, Ridge gets a warning from Bill Spencer to stay away from his daughter Caroline, only to flaunt it and ultimately proposes to her. Brooke gets attacked while on her way home.

Stephanie wonders if Eric is interested in Margo. Storm is furious about Brooke's attack and urges her to tell Katie and Donna. Ridge and Caroline tell Eric and Stephanie about their engagement. Bill tells Margo he made Ridge dump Caroline.

Thorne and Stephanie wonder if Caroline is pregnant. Beth reassures Katie about her complexion. Brooke tells Katie and Donna about her attack. Caroline tells Bill she is marrying Ridge. Bill tries to hide his rage.

Bill tells Margo he won't let Caroline marry Ridge. Dave tells Brooke he wants to use her as bait to catch the rapists. Brooke is worried. Thorne suspects Ridge is marrying Caroline to spite Bill. Bill tries to convince Caroline that Ridge is no good for her but she refuses to stop her wedding plans.

Brooke tells Dave she will act as a decoy. Dave is reluctant but agrees. Stephanie and Eric meet Bill and offer to use their home for the wedding. Donna tells Storm Dave has a plan involving Brooke and Storm rushes to find Dave. Bill has Ridge followed. 

Bill pressures Margo to tell him about Ridge but she refuses. Dave proposes to Brooke but she says she'll have to think it over. Storm and Dave argue about using Brooke as a decoy. Eric confronts Ridge about whether or not he loves Caroline.

Kristen tells Stephanie she can't attend the wedding. Donna meets Rocco and convinces him to ask Katie out. He agrees and Katie is overjoyed. Thorne and Caroline meet and Thorne feels an attraction to her. Stephanie gets a suspicious phone call.

Stephanie suspects there is something going on between Margo and Eric. Rocco arrives for his date with Katie and is disappointed in her looks. Eric and Stephanie argue about her relationship with Kristen. Caroline calls Kristen and convinces her to come to the wedding.

Margo tells Ridge he is wrong for Caroline and she doesn't want him to hurt her. Caroline convinces Bill to give Ridge a chance. Brooke isn't ready to marry Dave. Bill tells Conway to call off the investigation of Ridge. Ridge agrees to meet Alex for a drink.

Eric urges Stephanie to make up with Kristen. Thorne is worried when Ridge leaves to meet Alex. Alex gets Ridge to reminisce about all the good times they had together. Conway gets the message that Bill called off the investigation but proceeds to take a picture of Alex and Ridge making love.

Bill tells Margo to confess all about her relationship with Ridge or drop the subject. Beth wonders if Eric remembers her. Ridge is worried about Conway's picture. Thorne confronts Ridge about his disappearance but Ridge doesn't tell him about Alex.

Brooke tells Storm how much she envies Caroline's wedding. Alex approaches Ridge again but he tells her he only loves Caroline and is worried he will lose her because of the picture. Bill tells Ridge he accepts him and trusts him. Conway gives Bill the picture. Kristen and Caroline become friends.

Bill is furious when he sees the picture of Ridge and Alex. Bill shows the picture to Margo and tells her he doesn't know what to do. Kristen and Stephanie agree to try to be friends. Ridge tells Caroline he loves her. Ridge and Caroline have a press conference about the wedding.

Beth tells Brooke she knew Eric in college. Dave and Brooke have a romantic dinner. Brooke is angry when Dave admits Storm talked him out of the decoy plan. Bill tells Ridge he wants to speak to him after the party.

Donna realizes Katie is upset that Rocco hasn't called her and convinces him to ask her out again. Bill confronts Ridge with the picture. Ridge tells Bill it was a mistake but Bill wants the wedding called off immediately. 

Ridge tells Thorne about the picture. Donna tells Beth the truth about Rocco's interest in Katie. Bill urges Caroline to call Ridge. Ridge decides not to tell Caroline anything. Rocco tells Donna he wants to date her, not Katie.

Stephanie and Kristen argue about Kristen's love life. Storm tries to convince Grandma Logan to move in with the rest of the family. Ridge tells Bill he will have to tell Caroline if he wants her to know the truth because Ridge refuses to hurt her.

Ridge tells Thorne he talked to Bill and hopes Bill won't tell Caroline about Alex. Caroline is thrilled about the wedding. Bill arrives for the wedding and tells Caroline there is something he must tell her.

Stephanie is upset that Margo is at the wedding but Eric defends Margo. Bill tells Caroline about Ridge and Alex and she is heartbroken. Caroline decides to go through with the wedding anyway but collapses at the altar. Brooke tells Storm she's going to act as a decoy whether he likes it or not.

Caroline is taken to the hospital. The doctor announces she is in shock and needs to be kept overnight. Ridge is devastated to think Bill told Caroline the truth just as she was about to walk down the aisle. Katie is smitten with Rocco.

Kristen tells Bill that she doubts that the excitement of the wedding caused Caroline's collapse. Brooke and Donna read about the wedding in the paper, and head to the hospital to get in on the drama between the Forresters and Spencers. Bill lets Ridge know that it is over between him and his daughter.

Eric asks Kristen to stay in town, but she refuses because of Stephanie's jealousy. Thorne begs Caroline to give Ridge another chance. Brooke visits Caroline in the hospital. Stephanie and Eric wonder what happened to Caroline.

Upon her release from the hospital, Caroline tells a shocked Kristen the wedding is off. Thorne urges Ridge to talk to Caroline, but Ridge is reluctant. Caroline asks Bill how he could be so cruel as to break the news of Ridge's infidelity to her on her wedding day.

Caroline tells Bill that she won't forgive him for his cruelty and is moving out. Ridge tries to talk to Caroline, but is devastated to find her gone.

Storm and Alex have a date. Dave gives Brooke an engagement ring. Katie and Donna make dinner for Rocco. Rocco tries to kiss Donna when Katie leaves the room. Donna likes Rocco's kiss despite her efforts not to.

Brooke shows her family her engagement ring. Everyone is thrilled. Rocco asks Katie about her acne and she is mortified. Rocco calls Donna after his date with Katie and tells Donna he will be dreaming about her.

Caroline has her purse stolen and asks Kristen for a loan. Stephanie tells Kristen she wants her to stay in town, but Kristen doesn't believe her. Ridge admits to Eric what he did to Caroline. Ridge and Eric try to figure out where Caroline is.

Kristen gives Caroline the money and offers to stay with her, but Caroline refuses. Ridge suspects Kristen was with Caroline, but Kristen doesn't tell him the truth. Margo confronts Ridge about Caroline. Brooke fantasizes about the Forresters.

Donna tries to make Rocco jealous by kissing Mark. Rocco retaliates by kissing Katie while Donna is watching. Ridge follows Kristen to Caroline's apartment and asks to speak to her. Caroline asks him to leave.

Ridge tells Caroline he loves her and will never hurt her again. She tells him she can't go back to him, but he promises her that one day they will marry. Thorne tells Kristen that Ridge doesn't deserve Caroline.

 Stephanie tries to convince Kristen to stay in LA. Bill is upset when the police return Caroline's purse to him, and grows even more furious when Ridge refuses to tell him where Caroline is.

Storm is angry at the seventh anniversary of his father's abandonment of the family. Thorne asks Kristen to tell him where Caroline is. Grandma Logan accuses Beth of being responsible for her husband's disappearance.

Grandma Logan tells Beth that Stephen knew about her love for Eric. Kristen tells Thorne where he can find Caroline. Thorne tells Kristen he is in love with Caroline. Stephanie pushes Eric to talk about Beth.

Caroline calls Bill but doesn't say where she is. Caroline goes job hunting with poor results. Thorne arrives at Caroline's apartment, but she wants to be alone. Beth tells Storm about Eric without naming names.

Margo is furious when Ridge changes her design. Ridge threatens to fire Margo if she has been feeding Bill information about him. Caroline fixes dinner for Thorne. Stephanie accuses Bill of being tacky. Bill asks her for advice about Caroline.
