Dr. Chaffee, I Presume
"The Little People" is returning for its second season with a new title. In this season, Dr. Sean has his first encounter with a very proper allergist, Dr. Chaffee, portrayed by Roger Bowen, who is joining the cast. Dr. Chaffee quickly takes command of Sean's staff at the medical facility where they both work.

The Camp Doctor
Dr. Jamison responds to a sick call at a camp and is shocked to discover it is a nudist colony.

Austin Moves In
Dr. Sean comes to regret his mistake when he shares his home with Dr. Austin and his frustrations skyrocket at the thought of the allergist as a possible son-in- law.

The Pineapple League
Dr. Jamison discovers Little League coaching is a tough task especially when a girl (Dawn Lyn) wants to be on the team.

Inflation
Dr. Jamison loses his office nurse, Puni, to the battle of inflation when she moonlights at a golf range and suffers a black eye, and her male nurse successor nearly organizes the clinic out of business.

Sean, the Allergist
A falling coconut sends Dr. Sean (Brian Keith) into a strange field of practice and his diagnoses of certain itches shock the patients. When a coconut clobbers Dr. Chaffee (Roger Bowen), Dr. Sean assumes his practice. He tells the sophisticated Mrs. Wheeler (Jane Adrian) that she has fleas, and then suggests to Mr. Ormiston (Calvin C. Wiel) that his itchy scalp is caused by his toupee. Meanwhile, Mrs. Gruber (Nancy Kulp), the landlady, is threatened with a lawsuit by Dr. Chaffee over the coconut.

Sean, the Swinger
Dr. Jarnison becomes a sex symbol when word spreads that he's a swinger.

The trials of a would-be seafarer unfold after Jamison is given half ownership of a catamaran, a craft so dilapidated that it takes all the doctor's time and money to make it seaworthy.

Jamison tries grudgingly piano lessons after he is convinced to become a music student by Anne and Puni.

The Ultra-Marine
Linc, Dr. Jamison's retired Marine friend, arrives to paint nudes but falls for Jamison's daughter, Dr. Anne. Robert Sterling portrays Dr. Jamlson's old buddy from the Marine Corps; a mature charmer who is rapidly winning the heart of the pediatrician's daughter.
