The Brownlow Medal (2025- )
The Brownlow Medal awards show is an annual event, traditionally held at Crown Melbourne on the Monday before the AFL Grand Final, to present the Charles Brownlow Medal, awarded to the AFL's fairest and best player of the season. The event features a "red carpet" (often humorously called the "Gownlow"), where players and their partners arrive, followed by a live count of the votes. The count, hosted by the AFL, involves the AFL CEO reading the votes for each match, interspersed with highlights and commentary, leading to the announcement of the winner.
