Siege
Picking up the clan at Wyoming's Fort Laramie (where last season's miniseries left off), this series opener looks back on the two years of hardship, disease and bereavement the Chisholms have endured to get this far. But those trials are not over, as tonight young Will Chisholm (Ben Murphy) fights to save his dying wife; his brothers Bo and Gideon (James Van Patten, Brett Cullen) vie for the same girl; and Fort Laramie comes under siege by Indians.
