Episode 1
Cathy is in a coma fighting for her life after a terrible accident involving Niall Boylan. Dan is keeping constant vigil by her bedside, and Daisy returns home to support them.

Episode 2
Dan's grief over Cathy's death is overshadowed by his anger after hearing that Niall Boylan will escape relatively free from a serious conviction. Kieran has found himself relying on Cara more and more, to her delight. For Julia and Dan, life must go on and their attention is brought to Cathy's shares of the clinic, but when Cathy's will is read, there is a surprise in store for all involved.

Episode 3
Michael Kinsella, Julia's new companion, will be retiring soon as the Hospital Director of St. Matthew's and he wants Julie to take over the position.

Episode 4
In her first day in her new role, Daisy impresses Dan with her plan to bring quick fix cosmetic procedures to the Clinic but frustrates Cara by moving into her brand new, tidy office. Keelin suspects her patient is taking performance enhancing drugs.

Episode 5
Keelin and Ronan are trying for their first child when their world is turned upside-down. Liam's addiction worsens.

Episode 6
Under the influence of Rocusin, Liam loses a patient's prescription. To cover his mistake, Liam gives her a sample drug - unaware of her allergy to penicillin.

Episode 7
Having confronted Niall Boylan, Dan is getting ready to move on with his life. He assures Daisy that he is doing his best to put the past behind him and throws himself into seeking redemption by helping to save the life of a baby.

Episode 8
Grace finds out that her sister, Jasmine, is in Ireland and living close by but doesn't want to see Grace and asks her not to tell their parents where she is.

Episode 9
Patrick is baffled when a seventeen year-old boy claiming to be his son is admitted to St. Matthew's after a mugging. When the boy, Fergus, produces a birth certificate bearing Patrick's name and that of his mother - Patrick's former girlfriend Gillian Grey - and a photo of the two of them together, the evidence is overwhelming.

Episode 10
With Daisy's support, Dan attends the trial of Niall Boylan. When Niall is found not guilty for the deaths of Cathy and her baby, Dan is overcome with emotion.
