The Conners - Season 5

In an effort to save money, newlyweds Darlene and Ben, and Jackie and Neville head off on their joint honeymoon, where their cost-saving measures contribute to a tension-filled getaway. Elsewhere, Dan, Becky, Harris, Mark and Beverly Rose head off for a night at a waterpark, where Harris and Mark bond in an unexpected way as Mark copes with the news that his ex-boyfriend is dating someone else on the season premiere.

Jackie moves in with Neville and discovers that being newlyweds produces new problems when Neville shows up to their home with an excess of animals from his vet office. Meanwhile, Darlene and Ben have an argument as Ben points out Darlene is turning into her father.

Mark is anxious to get his driver's license when a job opportunity presents itself across town. Darlene attempts to teach him to drive, but her frantic energy sends him running to Ben for help. Meanwhile, Harris meets a new guy online, whom Becky recognizes from her past.

When a relative passes away unexpectedly, the family must debate about who should gain custody of a jaded nephew, who is just shy of his 18th birthday.

Problems arise on Beverly Rose's first day of kindergarten; Becky and Darlene have a disagreement; Harris advises an unusual solution for Dan's back pain.

It's Halloween at the Conners, and Dan encourages the family to decorate the house. When everyone is feeling too busy and overwhelmed to help, Becky tries to take matters into her own hands. Meanwhile, Harris takes a stand on an issue that ruffles a few feathers in Darlene's new neighborhood.

Darlene receives a promotion at her company, but she quickly learns the fancy title is not all it's cracked up to be. Meanwhile, when Louise loses her job at Casita Bonita, an opportunity arises to work with Jackie at the Lunch Box.

It's Thanksgiving at the Conners and Jackie must come to terms with her mother, Beverly, becoming ill. Meanwhile, Darlene is on the job hunt which proves to be more difficult than anticipated.

Darlene, Ben, Becky and Beverly Rose move into the new house, where Darlene implements a new set of rules. Meanwhile, Harris welcomes a guest at Dan and Louise's.

The holidays are approaching and Dan meets his mother-in-law for the first time. Elsewhere, Darlene helps Becky with a parenting problem.

The death of a beloved teacher from Dan and Jackie's high school brings old classmates together. Elsewhere, Becky asks Darlene and Ben for a big favor. 

Darlene and Ben get into a fight and ignore Becky's boundaries in the house. Elsewhere, Dan accuses Jackie of losing all of their home videos.

Darlene has issues with Dan's plumbing work in her new house; Jackie tries to find a caregiver for Bev.

Darlene continues her search for a new job; Becky is desperate to spend more time with Beverly Rose.

Harris makes a big announcement; Ben is overwhelmed with family responsibilities.

Harris takes her anger out on Darlene. Elsewhere, Dan and Louise spend an entire day in bed together.   .

Mark fights for a spot in the Lanford High chamber orchestra. Elsewhere, Jackie puts a lottery machine in the Lunch Box.

Dan and Jackie take a road trip to a hardware wholesaler in Oklahoma; Darlene heads out of town and leaves behind a plethora of to-do notes for Becky and Ben.

Louise gets into a feud with Becky after accidentally sending a rude message in the family text thread. Meanwhile, Darlene tries to spice up her sex life with Ben.

Darlene figures out a new plan to afford Mark's college tuition; Jackie and Louise try to help Becky meet a new guy.

Neville confronts Jackie about loaning Dan money. Elsewhere, Darlene attempts to play matchmaker for Mark.

As Mark's graduation approaches, he considers his relationship with his father. Meanwhile, Louise plans a big graduation ceremony at the Lunch Box. .
