Obstacle Horse, or Course of Course
The cowboys and their families come together to help Booger prepare for the Road to the Horse competition with a mock obstacle course.

Unsaddled and Untraveled
Booger heads to Austin to prepare for his competition. The lack of direction for their business causes tension between the cowboys.

Buckskin for the Win!
With no plans to further the business, the cowboys head in different directions. Booger competes in the Road to the Horse competition.

Buck Up, Cowboy
Cody searches locations for his specialty cattle sale. Bubba shares news with his in-laws. Booger makes a tough decision while competing.

Partnership Hits the Fan
When volunteering with community kids, Cody secures a new buyer for his sale. Bubba visits an organic ranch and learns about grass-fed cattle. Booger gets an offer to train horses in Austin. Bottled-up tensions finally come to a head with the guys.

Friends or Foes?
The guys take a break from their partnership. Cody secures buyers for his specialty cow sale. Bubba heads north to meet with the organic feed investors. Booger focuses on the horse-training world. Jaclyn tries to mend the guys' friendship.

Friends 'Til the End
Cody finds cattle for his sale, but they're not cheap; Bubba takes a trip down memory lane; Booger goes back to Austin and tries adding English-style to his training skills; The men make up and consider a big job offer in Texas.

A Pea in the Pod
Cody and Misty conduct a successful cow sale; Bubba learns the organic feed deal isn't going to work out; Booger heads back to Austin for horse training and coaching clients, this time with Jaclyn and Matthew in tow.

The thousands of books that line the shelves of his shop provide him with all the knowledge he needs.
Book has gathered around him a host of lovable, damaged misfits whom he informally protects, cajoles, and mentors. His wife Trottie runs the wallpaper shop next door. She's a charismatic adventuress whom Book loves deeply but not physically, for they are in a 'lavender' marriage to help conceal Book's sexual orientation in a time when it was illegal to be gay.
Bookish marries post-war nostalgia with the reckless and life-affirming atmosphere of the times, creating a fast-paced and stylish detective drama.
