The Cruise - Season 5

Season 5
Sailing The Caribbean
This new three-part series for ITV features the crew of the Royal Princess, one of the world's largest and most luxurious cruise ships, embarking on a five month season island hopping around the Caribbean - from Grenada and the Bahamas, to Antigua and Bonaire.
Being the world's most popular cruise destination means competition among companies operating in the Caribbean is intense, so the captain and crew of Royal Princess must do everything they can to stand out from the rest.
Episodes

Episode 1
In the first episode, with the liner about to depart the small Dutch speaking island of Bonaire, on the bridge Captain Bob gets word the winches down in the mooring station on Deck 3 aren't working. If the staff can't wind the lines in, the ship is going nowhere.
An old-fashioned reboot gets them working again, but will they function at the next port? If they don't, the ship will be unable to dock – and the pressure is on for second officer James who is sent to oversee the operation.

Episode 2
Marcella is under pressure to deliver the perfect day for a Middlesbrough couple tying the knot on board, having been planning their nuptials for two years - and it proves a poignant moment for Captain Bob as it is the last marriage he will conduct before he retires after 46 years at sea. Bar manager Lilia is in desperate need of a new juggling bartender and shore excursions agent Timothy is given more responsibility as he dispatches passengers into their tour buses.

Episode 3
As Captain Bob Oliver steers the ship to the US Virgin Islands and St Thomas, it is his last tour of duty after 46 years at sea. He does not know it yet, but his officers are planning to give him a send-off to remember... Meanwhile, production manager Breanna must get the Princess's new musical set up in less than 24 hours and Vlad must reopen the spa's closed steam room.
