This time, a team of air cadets bring a bravado bonanza to the Maze. Led by captain Leon, this is a team who are certainly not short of confidence and they begin the night predicting big things. But will they be able to deliver?

Martial Arts
This week, a martial arts team journey through the Maze. The high-kicking group features a player who took part in the original series 26 years ago. She won both her games back then, but will her 100% record remain intact this time around?

Cosplay
In this edition, the Cosplay team journey through the Maze. They are huge fans of the show and have engaged in intensive research on how to tackle the challenges ahead. But will all the preparation pay off or be utterly pointless?

Cheerleaders
The Cheerleaders, five disproportionately excitable young ladies who hope enthusiasm will help them in their quest through the Maze. But will they still be cheering when they make it to the Crystal Dome?

Well Read and Underfed
Maze Master Richard Ayoade guides the Well Read and Underfed team, a group of plucky students through the Maze. But will they graduate with honors or will the Maze mark them down?

Footballers
In this show, Richard Ayoade guides an all-female football team through the Maze. They are hoping to score, but will they play defensively or go on the attack, and will there be any own goals?

Pizza Hut Team
For the final show in the current series, Richard Ayoade guides the Pizza Hut Team through the Maze. This group of Welsh hopefuls met while working in a restaurant, so the question is will they serve up a victory or leave with a large serving of humble pie?

In season two, hidden truths about the nature and terrifying origins of the town begin to emerge, even as life for its residents is plunged into chaos by the arrival of mysterious newcomers.
