Youth
Matthew's first assignment is looking after a 16 year old who wants to keep the identity of her boyfriend from her parents. They're starting to grill him for information when Matthew catches the boy and has to decide whose side he's going to take.

Truth
A father-to-be appears to have two partners giving birth on the same day while Matthew has to decide whether to come clean to Lisa about landing her boyfriend Ryan in trouble with the police. If he takes too long to make up his mind Lisa could find out anyway.

Prisoner
A pregnant prisoner is on release to give birth and Matthew refuses to help the police who want him to get information from her during labour. His friend Ian has no such qualms and having secured a temporary job as a hospital security guard, he spots an opportunity to get his police suspension lifted.

Celebrity
A reality TV star arrives incognito in an emergency and asks Matthew to hide her pregnancy from the public. Thanks to Tash's Facebook, word gets out and the staff need to trick the paparazzi.

Foundling
The midwives find an abandoned baby in the hospital and are determined to track down the mother before the authorities get involved. Ian and the midwife team find themselves passing the unclaimed infant around to keep Dr Edward from finding out.

Theft
The drugs cupboard has been raided. Matthew and Lisa seem to be hitting it off at last until one of the forensic team investigating the drugs theft turns out to be Matthew's ex-girlfriend, who thinks their relationship can be rekindled. Lisa has a similar issue with her recently dumped boyfriend, Ryan.
