The Eternal White - Season 1

Season 1
Episodes

Best Not to Feel
In a distant future, a spaceship crashes in the endless white desert of planet Sandoz. Onboard are crew members, native inhabitants, and a political delegation sent to intervene in the upcoming elections. Ela and Jim survive the crash and desperately search for their daughter Kin amid the wreckage. But Sandoz is home to the Ukus—stingray-like creatures that swim through the sand and attack anyone feeling intense emotions.

01
The silence between Ela and Jim is a memory of Kin's failed operation, his daughter, now unable to feel emotions. On his trip to the white planet, the ship suffers an accident. To survive, the group must cross the eternal and white desert of the planet to get to Atis, avoiding being captured by their wild creatures that react to their fears, pain and joys.

Sadness
The natives recognize the distant whistle as a distress signal from a fellow Grounder. Jim forms a small rescue team—Ami and Gómez join him—and negotiates with Morrison: if they don't return by sunrise, the rest should move on without them. Morrison agrees and sends Diera to accompany them.

White
The rescue team reunites with the others. As they approach, Lila becomes anxious to see her partner. Diera warns Perro and Morrison about her emotional state. Morrison decides Lila is too dangerous—if she learns of Franklin's death, her grief could attract the Ukus. Perro takes it upon himself to "deal with" her, but he's too late: the Ukus return.

Love
Dosed with White, Ela and Jim walk side by side—numb, detached, free of pain or resentment. For the first time, they talk openly about Kin's failed surgery. In a disturbingly rational exchange, they discuss guilt, responsibility, and the crisis in their relationship. The mine appears on the horizon; they're close. But the natives, having received only half doses, begin to sweat white—the drug is wearing off.

Anger
Jim and Ela, now free from the effects of White, reconnect as a couple. Soon after, Morrison summons them—she has a deal to offer. They go, leaving Kin in Rude's care.

Surprise
A shootout breaks out. Jim and Ela flee to search for Kin—but she's gone. Morrison, done with diplomacy, orders Perro and Diera to kill everyone—except Ela, Jim, and Kin. Caronte, now completely deranged, wanders the mine muttering nonsense and setting traps.

Happiness
Jim is overwhelmed by the sound of Kin's suffering echoing through the speakers. Ela breaks down in tears. A raw, visceral argument explodes between them. Morrison steps in to blackmail them: either help her, or Kin's soul stays trapped in the system forever.
