Episode 1
Malcom is getting ready for Security Patrol, and his half-brother Sheldon accuses him of only doing the job because he likes getting dressed up in uniforms. While Malcom is on patrol he meets his friend Fraser who is a policeman, and shows enthusiasm for joining the force. The brothers arrange their mother's burial with The Rev Colt, who is rather taken aback with the plans made by Sheldon. And Malcom is concerned when he hears Sheldon's ideas for their home - a roots and culture club with bands etc.

Episode 2
Malcom tells Sheldon he is joining the police force on Monday. Sheldon and his pal Earl meet to discuss ways of having Malcom thrown out of 'The Squealers'.

Episode 3
Malcom arrests a local small-time crook, Biff Martins, who is one of Sheldon's heroes. Sheldon applies for a seasonal job at the Job Centre - it seems such an unusual job for a Rastafarian with dreadlocks.

Episode 4
Sheldon has made new speakers for his guitar which rather upsets the dinner party Malcom has planned for his new friend WPC Maria. The brothers sort their differences out when Sheldon, much to Malcom's amusement, agrees to play his steel drums at the local carnival.

Episode 5
Sheldon tells Malcom he intends to change his name to that of a Zulu chief. Malcom has to cope with an impending visit from a social worker called Rupert, and he asks for Sheldon's help.

Episode 6
Louise tells Sheldon that the Police have closed the local café - Malcom secretly agrees with Maria that if the café were kept open at least they would know where the local youths were. Tension mounts outside the café with a near riot. Then Sheldon has a brainwave.
