
The Governor (1995-1996)
Helen Hewitt is the youngest woman ever to be placed in charge of an all-male maximum security prison in The Governor. The series follows Hewitt's progress following her high-profile appointment as governor of the troubled Barfield Prison, which has been partially destroyed by recent rioting.
