Continental

Bread
The remaining seven bakers are past the halfway mark of the competition, and for their signature challenge they must rustle up both a savoury and a sweet bread. They also face the dreaded technical challenge, with each hoping to prove they have got what it takes to cut the mustard in the kitchen. Presented by Anna Nolan
Classics
Week six of the competition arrives, and things are really heating up for the remaining seven bakers. Today is all about classic baking, and the contestants must create a pear tarte Tatin in the technical challenge, while the showstopper this time is a 'surprise inside cake'. Presented by Anna Nolan.
Semi-Final
The remaining five bakers compete in the semi-final in the seventh week of the competition, for which the theme is summer desserts. The participants face a signature challenge, as well as a fiendishly difficult task - set by judge Paul Kelly - that puts their technical skills to the test. The Final
The three remaining bakers compete in the final, having to prepare macaroons in a test of their technical prowess, before facing the showstopper challenge. Paul Kelly and Biddy White Lennon then decide who will be crowned the winner
