In the 15th century, the Anzai and Satomi clans are at war. After the defeat of the Anzai clan, Fuse insists that the prince keep his word. However, before her eight offspring are born, the princess chooses death. Hamaji's subsequent rescuer turns out to be her long lost brother, Dosetsu Inuyama, from whom she was separated at birth.

But the man released from captivity in the castle dungeon and assigned to capture Shino turns out to be none other than the fourth dog warrior, Genpachi Inukai.
