Yeo Ri tries to escape the shadow of Gang Cheol, the dragon deity who ruined her past. A request from Yun Gap leads her onto a dangerous path where he is lethally ambushed by political foes, giving Gang Cheol the perfect chance to possess his body. Now, her greatest enemy is closer than ever within the form of her trusted, dying friend.

Where Gang-cheol Walks, Autumn Turns to Spring
Yeo Ri wakes up at the palace. She finds out that Kang Cheol wasn't the one who attacked Yun Gap. However, she's still suspicious about Kang Cheol since he possessed Yun Gap's body. She looks for Yun Gap's spirit, but she runs into something else instead. Meanwhile, Kang Cheol who is in Yun Gap's body is fascinated by the human senses. It feels awkward, but he starts to enjoy being human.

The Eight-Foot-Tall Ghost
Yeo-ri manages to locate Yoon Gap's soul and prepares a shamanic ritual to retrieve it. Gangcheori worries for her, though his fears are unfounded.

The Shining Gem of the Night
The king is possessed by the Eight-feet Spirit, but Yeo Ri and Kang Cheol manage to get rid of it. Kang Cheol wants to leave the capital to stay away from the Eight-feet Spirit, but Yeo Ri asks him to help her get rid of the spirit and save Yun Gap. However, the king banishes the two from the capital for breaking the law, which is doing a ritual in the capital. Meanwhile, the Eight-feet Spirit finds another target.

The Eight-Foot-Tall Ghost Has an Ally
Cheol asks Monk Ga Seop if he could perform gubyeongsisik and drive the Eight-feet spirit out of the world. The monk tells him that they need to deplete the energy of the glowing pearl within his body to settle the resentment of the evil spirit. After Prince Yeong In's passing, Cheol finds out someone in the Palace is aiding the Eight-feet spirit.

The Skull in the Pillow
Pung San is pleased to find out that the Queen is pregnant with the King's child, giving the General of Heaven and Earth another child to feed on. Cheol learns from Bi Bi that he needs to kill the body of Gap to get out of his body. Meanwhile, Yeo Ri finds a skull with a talisman hidden in the Queen's pillow that causes the Queen to have nightmares.

A Deadly Spell
The water spirit attacks Yeo Ri with a deadly spell. She slowly shows the same symptoms as the Queen, who is bedridden due to an unknown illness. Kang Cheol suggests that the King become bait to catch the water spirit, as it wants the royal blood. Yeo Ri hears the news and rushes to the river where Kang Cheol and the King are waiting for the water spirit to emerge.

Aguji
Yeo Ri and Kang Cheol grant the water spirit's wish and bring his remains to his daughter. In return, the water spirit confesses that Aguji was behind the attacks on the Queen. The King locks up all the blind shamans from the Bureau of the Blind and interrogates them to find who Aguji is. Meanwhile, Yeo Ri finds out that the Eight-feet Spirit killed her grandmother.

13 Years Ago
Yeo Ri finds out the Eight-feet Spirit devoured her grandmother's spirit while trying to save the late King. Cheol makes Bi Bi guard Yeo Ri in case she puts herself in danger while pursuing the Eight-feet Spirit. As the King wants to make Choi Won U the First Vice-Premier, Kim Bong In uses Pung San and Dowager Queen to put a stop to it.

There is No Evil Ghost
Yeo Ri shares with the King that they need to uncover the identity of the Eight-feet Spirit and settle his grudge to be able to send him off. As soon as Yeo Ri realises that Pung San is Aguji, he takes Yeo Ri by force and hides her. Cheol goes to the Bureau of the Blind to find her, and Aguji reveals his true identity to him.

Who is Behind Eight-Foot-Tall Ghost?
The origin of the ghost gets Gangcheori thinking. Bi-bi is left susceptible and resentful when Yeo-ri keeps her from getting Gangcheori's help.

The Anthology of Light and Darkness
Kang Chul mourns Bi Bi's absence with a heart riven by sorrow. Yeo Ri tells Jeong that Kim Bong In is behind Aguji and the Eight-feet Spirit. Jeong summons Bong In and asks why he did such terrible deeds. Yeo Ri, Jeong, and Kang Chul head to Yong Dam Village. Meanwhile, Yeo Ri senses the presence of the One-legged Spirit again.

The Return of The Spirit
Amidst astonished faces, the eight-foot-tall ghost reveals itself. Feelings grow deeper between Gangcheori and Yeo-ri as someone lurks in their midst.

The Ghostbane Stone
Pung San tells Yoon Gap to pour the mysterious liquid over the warding stone so that the King can claim his body for good. Gap asks Yeo Ri to send him over before he harms the King. The ritual for the Eight-feet Spirit is held with the King and Queen's presence. When Yeo Ri summons the spirit, she senses that something has gone wrong.

Spirit Possession
Gangcheori and Yeo-ri mourns the fallen King. But the eight-foot-tall ghost is only beginning. In what may be their last, the two share precious time.
