The Qius are a wealthy family famous for their practice of son preference. It is well known that the family's business is to be inherited by the only grandson of the third generation, Qiu Zhibin. While the patriarch, Mr. Qiu, remains in a coma after a stroke, a power of attorney signed by him surfaces. To everyone's surprise, he has entrusted his eldest granddaughter, Qiu Hao'er, with the role of acting chairman of the group.
