Documentary following staff at DS McGregor and Partners mixed vet practices in Thurso and Wick as they work to help farm animals, horses, domestic pets and wildlife. In the first edition, vet Shondie faces the most dramatic case of her career when a two-month-old Tamaskan puppy is brought in after being attacked by an older dog.
Episode 2
Two rescued grey seal pups are brought in for emergency care. Bonzo the cat needs surgery for a limp, a chestnut mare needs dental work and Zac the chihuahua has a blocked bladder.
Episode 3
Vet Tom is concerned his Shetland pony may be suffering from fatal condition laminitis. Heidi, an 11-month-old Chihuahua, arrives under the weather and heavily pregnant.
Episode 4
Shondie is on call as first shepherdess Susan and then farmer Meri arrive at the practice in the middle of the night with pregnant sheep in need of urgent veterinary help.
Episode 5
Shondie and David work a busy night shift and collie Lassie receives course of acupuncture.
