Part 1
This episode tracks the troupe from their obscure beginnings at a 1980s punk rock club in Toronto, to their discovery by legendary star-maker Lorne Michaels and through the growing pains of getting their controversial series on the air. Through never before seen archive this episode also reveals the complicated childhoods and life challenges that shaped the troupe's surreal brand of humour.

Part 2
The troupe perfect their craft over 5 seasons of their hit series. Taking the logical next step – the troupe tackles a feature film, only to find that personal infighting and creative differences are destined to blow the troupe apart… for a time, at least. Reuniting for a series of successful tours leads the troupe to further TV work and newfound fame with a whole new generation of fans.

The Great British Bake Off
Over 10 weeks, 12 of the best amateur bakers in Britain will whisk, knead, ice, beat and bake their way through classic British cakes, perfect patisserie, Italian delights, sticky caramel constructions and elaborate layered puddings. All 12 will be hoping to impress with their skill, creativity, knowledge and passion to clinch the Bake Off Crown. Each of the 30 new challenges have been carefully designed by judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith to reveal just who is a star baker.
